GS 1974 ARTICLE 39 –  Request of hr. J. Werkman and appeals of hr. J. Huizinga and hrs. K. Visscher and J. Merkus. Committee IV presents a preliminary report on the request of br. J. Werkman and the appeals of br. J. Huizinga and brs. K. Visscher and J. Merkus (N9).

GS 1974 ARTICLE 38 – Address Church Committee IV presents: Committee IV suggests to appoint an Address Church. Grounds: The Mandate for an Address Church: Committee IV suggests to appoint the Church which takes care of the General Synodical Archives, i.e. Ebenezer Church at Burlington. ADOPTED

GS 1974 ARTICLE 37 – Reformed Ecumenical Synod Advisory Committee IV presents: MATERIALS: OBSERVATIONS: CONSIDERATIONS: Synod decide: ADOPTED Committee IV is charged to draft an answer to the General Secretary of the Reformed Ecumenical Synod in harmony with this decision.

GS 1974 ARTICLE 36 – Re-Opening The plenary session is re-opened. Psalm 67:1 is sung.

GS 1974 ARTICLE 35 – Adjournment Synod adjourns. The Advisory Committees meet.

GS 1974 ARTICLE 34 – Acts The Acts of the third session are read and adopted.

GS 1974 ARTICLE 33-  Re-Opening Synod is re-opened. Psalm 66:2, 4, and 5 from Book of Praise is sung. From Scripture Psalm 66 is read. The chairman leads in prayer. Roll-call is held. All delegates are present.

GS 1974 ARTICLE 32 –  Adjournment After Psalm 87:1, 2 is sung and br. R.J. Oosterhoff has led in thanksgiving the chairman declares Synod adjourned.

GS 1974 ARTICLE 31 –  Invitation On behalf of the Board of Governors of the Theological College the Rev. D. VanderBoom invites the members of Synod to the College Evening which will be held on D.V. tomorrow night.
