GS 1968 ARTICLE 69 The morning is used for the preparatory work of the advisory committees.

GS 1968 ARTICLE 67 Elder S. Tuininga requests Synod to sing Hymn 15:1,2, and leads in thanksgiving.

GS 1968 ARTICLE 66 Synod deals with the report of advisory Committee III concerning the Minority Report (1,12) submitted to Synod by Mr. P. Vanderschaaf as one of the Deputies for Correspondence with Foreign Churches. The discussion will be continued. (Art. 73)

GS 1968 ARTICLE 65 The afternoon roll call reveals that all the delegates are present except the alternate delegate elder G. DeBoer. It is decided that the alternate delegate elder N. Bronsema, Grand Rapids, Mich. will be a member of Synod until elder G. DeBoer will be able to attend.

GS 1968 ARTICLE 64 Synod decides that the officers will take care of the Press Release. (See Art. 185)

GS 1968 ARTICLE 63 The Acts of the Fifth to the Eighth Session inclusive are read and approved.

GS 1968 ARTICLE 62 The roll call indicates that the elders H. Bouwman and J. Kuik have not yet arrived. The alternate delegate of elder H. Oosterveld, elder G. DeBoer, is not yet present.

GS 1968 ARTICLE 61 The Chairman requests Synod the singing of Psalm 145:1,5, reads Psalm 145, and leads in thanksgiving and supplication.

GS 1968 ARTICLE 60 Elder H. Oosterveld informs Synod that he no longer has the opportunity to attend as a delegate. He speaks a few words of appreciation for the co-operation, requests Synod to sing Psalm 1: 1-4, and leads in thanksgiving.

GS 1968 ARTICLE 59 The Chairman reminds the brethren of the fact that, in accordance with the decision mentioned under Art. 10, Synod shall resume its meetings on Monday November 18th, at 9.00 a.m.
