ARTICLE 17 – Reopening

The chairman calls the meeting to order. He requests to sing Psalm 111: 1, 4, 5, reads Job 28, and leads in prayer.

The roll call shows that the Rev. Cl. Stam is absent.

The chairman informs Synod that Dr. K. Deddens has been notified of his appoint­ment. Dr. Deddens expresses gratitude for the confidence placed in him by Synod.
