GS 1980 ARTICLE 89 – Re-opening
The Chairman requests that the members of Synod sing Psalm 23:1, 3. He reads Isaiah 44:1-8 and leads in prayer. He welcomes the guests, especially the students of the John Calvin and Guido DeBres schools.
