Recommendations:
Synod decide
- 1. that, before guest ministers from sister churches abroad are invited to preach, Deputies for Correspondence with Foreign Churches be asked to provide information whether they are ministers in good standing;
- 2. that the colloquium with a minister called from abroad, be conducted by the classis concerned.
Ground: the rules for Correspondence with Foreign Churches provide desirable and sufficient safeguard for the churches.
