GS 1971 ARTICLE 97 – Article 43 Church Order The chairman reads article 43 of the Church Order. No one asks the floor. The chairman states that he may conclude with pleasure that no one has to be rebuked because of having done something worthy of punish­ment.

GS 1971 ARTICLE 96 – Appointments Synod decides that the Committees shall have the right, in case a vacancy occurs, in order to fulfil their mandate to bring their member­ ship up to its original strength.
