GS 1968 ARTICLE 160
In open session the Chairman announces the decisions made in the executive session, as follows:
1. The Board of Governors advises Synod to rescind its decision of November 27 (Art. 118) re the appointment of Rev. Ors. J. Faber as Professor of the Old Testament disciplines.

2. The Board of Governors advises Synod to fill the vacancy in Systematic Theology by appointing the Rev. Drs. J. Faber, Rotterdam, The Netherlands, in the place of the late Rev. J. T. VanPopta.

3. If Synod decides in accordance with these advices, the Board of Governors recommends Synod to appoint the Rev. F. Kouwenhoven, M.Th., Willowdale, Ont., as Professor of the Old Testament disciplines.

4. After consultation with the appointed Staff, the Board of Governors advises Synod to appoint the Staff members for a period of three years.

5. The details in connection with the term of office will be decided upon by the Board of Governors, after consultation with the Staff of the College.
